The owners, Paige and Hakon Mattson (pictured left), developed the store’s concept while in the Peace Corps. After working on a sustainable eco-farm in Costa Rica, they decided they wanted to share their passion for the environment and make being ‘green’ accessible and affordable to the everyday consumer.
