French Preston: coffee comes to the intersection

Over three years after 400 Preston Avenue got an extreme make-over, and began offering a little corner space for lease as a coffee shop, a coffee shop has finally arrived. Milli Joe opened on July 20 by offering free coffee, and now Hawes Spencer at the Hook has a little write-up.

“I’ve always wanted to get into something culinary, and I’ve always loved coffee,” owner Nick Leichtentritt tells Spencer. “I was working in agency management for an insurance company and decided that it’s hard to have a passion for insurance, but it’s easy to have a passion for good food and good coffee.” READ MORE
