DTM business WillowTree Apps, which creates apps for mobile phones, was just named one of the fastest growing, private companies in America by Inc. Magazine, NBC29 reports. Of course, they came in 479th out of 500, but still. More impressive, there were only two two app developers on the list. And get this: revenue grew 800 percent between 2008 and 2011!

And that reminds the DTM of something its planning to do…list all the little companies nestled on the DTM that no one knows about.
