Mrs. President to visit the DTM on Friday
First lady Michelle Obama will be at the Main Street Arena in Charlottesville this Friday afternoon at 1:40pm, doing some stumping for her husband. Tickets are being distributed on a first come, first serve basis at the Organizing for America office, also on the DTM at 407 East Main Street.

Landmark gets sold at auction for $6.25 million
Waynesboro-born John Dewberry (photo left), once a starting quarterback for the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets in the mid-1980s, and now a well-known Atlanta-based real estate developer, submitted the winning bid of $6.25 million for the shell of the Landmark Hotel in Federal bankruptcy court today.
