    Please continue investigating why the 4th Street Mall crossover was open when all of the City maps show it as being cordoned off for the duration of the rally (noon to 5). This is the question everyone is asking. “I don’t know” is not an acceptable answer from the Chief. Thanks.

    Yes, the Chief’s answer was perplexing. We are looking into this, and a number of other reporters are as well.
